Landscape

This portfolio of landscape photographs reflects the locations that I have most enjoyed both for their beauty and isolation or striking design. Some of the images are part of projects to capture the subtleties of light, atmosphere, and terrain. The portfolio features many locations in all seasons. I hope these photographs encourage you to pause, slow down, and appreciate the world around us.

I use neutral density filters to increase exposure times and polarising filters to increase saturation and reduce reflections. Most photographs are taken with my camera on a tripod. This is not to achieve better focus or sharper images, but rather to encourage me to slow down and enjoy the process of taking photographs.
